Exclamation Wilwood brakes finally

Just wanted to let everyone know that wilwood is finally coming out with a kit for the 67-72 Chevy/GMC Trucks. I have no details of price or set-up. I do know that January 1st is the date that kits will be done. The guy I talked to said they do have a rear system already done but the front will be done shortly. I'll try to keep the thread up to date or if you want more info call Wilwood at 805-388-1188 ask for the sales/tech line.

Re: Wilwood brakes finally

Thats cool! I'll bet this will be a pricey kit like Baer brakes. I am about to get my disc conversion, looking hard at mcgaughys or going with a stock disc kit with factory drilled rotors. I can build a kit cheap using new parts from oreilys. I may wait and see what the price is on this kit.

Re: Wilwood brakes finally

just called. kit is 2300 for 13 inch rotor kit (not drilled or slotted) with 6 piston calipers and hardware. They also have a 14 inch kit for about 150.00 more. They are using the spindle from CPP so they are purchased seperately, but i included that in the price above, Mcagaughys kit is 619.00 just haven't heard from anyone who has installed. What do you all think?

I am still on the fence wether I should spend all that $$$$ being how tough business is getting. Hopefully they will come down in price sooner or later..
