Re: cragar ss

There is one in the photoshop area of the site right now, but it is on an earlier model truck. You might post a pic of your truck there and see them in it....

I don't jave a pic, but I've seen a truck our vintage with Cragars....It looked really nice to me. Retro, classic look. Cragars with baby moons up front.

Firefighter I like the stance on the green stepper. Would you mind listing your drop and tire/wheel specs?

I used 1995 Ford Mustang Tangerine. Same colors used on Saleens that year. I painted it with PPG Deltron basecoat/ clearcoat. I was just driving by a Ford dealership about midway through building the truck and saw the color on a car on the lot and it took me.

Re: cragar ss

Wow do I ever like the look of the Cragar SS's on our trucks. I"ve come to the conclusion that as much as I would love 17's on my truck they are cost prohibitive for me so I am going to do a 3 1/2 front and 5' rear drop and go with 15's and the SS's may be the way to go. Anyone want to give me their opinion as to what you think they may look like on ole Pinky?

Any time man. I've lowered a whole lot of trucks in my time and have found these parts to work best for me. Two brands that are tops are Early Classic for vintage trucks and Bell Tech for later trucks. You get what you pay for.

Re: cragar ss

They aren't any cheaper than performance online. It says the front springs lower between 1 and 3 inches. Whats up with that

Re: cragar ss

It's been awhile but I seem to remember the part number was SUM g727 for the front spring.

It's a 2 inch drop spring and when you remove them from the box and look close you'll see they are actually Ground Force brand.
