Sucks about the big back glass???
Actually it makes if MORE valuable as the big back glass is an option for '67 and not a real common one either. Last edited by Shane; 12-05-2008 at 05:33 PM. |

Looks like an awesome project. I agree on the big back window as well.

Re: dandy looking 67 on ebay , and look what they used for a bed liner !!!OMG
Small back glass is "special".
I think what 3ontree meant was that, since it`s a`67 and could have been uniquely`67 with a small window rather than have the big window that any other truck would have,it`s a shame it isn`t.This coming from the owner of one very nice small window`67.By the looks of the truck,it looks like the Panoramic Rear Glass would have been one of the few options it got.He may be refering to that, too. The small back window lends to the simplicity of a basic truck.

Me three! Big glass for little trucks, little glass for the big ones (C50)! Isn't the big glass in the 67 more of a rarity?

I gotta agree on the big glass, but I'd still like it with a little window. Just not as much.

Too bad about the cut up sign, but it makes a sweet bed floor, I just wouldn't want to use it to carry anything!

Re: dandy looking 67 on ebay , and look what they used for a bed liner !!!OMG
Too bad it`s not a longbed. The sign wouldn`t be cut off and the truxk would be worth another $1,000.(as long as they didn`t drill it full of holes to mount)

Prices have been pretty volatile... so it will be interesting to see how the sale will go. Great looking for it age and location in the rust belt.

I cant believe some bonehead hacked that sign up to use as a bedfloor.
That sign would go great with all my other Coke stuff.

Quote:
As for the small vs. large rear window, the large rear windows were an option in '67. The original designers favored the small window for the limosine-like quality that it conveyed....it fit the contours of the cab design. Harry Bentley Bradley was the designer of note and he still thinks that the '69 redesign took away from their original intentions, but the market wanted a more-masculine appearing truck than the first iteration conveyed.
