i agree i hate the bed! if GM would have wanted a truck to look like that, theyd make it that way, IMO

jumpin on the hater bandwagon. I have never liked that vintage stepside. Even when it's on the correct year truck. like steps just fine but pre 88 and definitely not the s10s and such although the silver and green s10 dually crew floating around lately I like alot!

reminds me of an article i read in Hot Rod years ago.
you need to look at the sum of the parts, the big picture, and make sure everything works together.
I think the big picture gets lost to some people in the smaller pieces and parts of the build......
