making your own "options"sticker?

i'm compiling my own "custom" options sticker to go on my glove box door, have just about all of them except something for the chrome outside mirrors.i know chevy didn't have them in chrome at the time as they were white to match the grill and surround.but was the outside mirrors standard equipment on 68's,or did you have to spcify if you wanted outside mirrors?if so,what is the number for it on the option's code?also, what would be the best way to transfer these #'s and thier part's (you know like.....1ls9- ac -350 c.i.v-8 engine) is the best way by type- writer onto my blank options list sticker?

I have a list of the option codes, ( some/all?), on my website. Check them out and see if they have what you need? Just trying to help?

I recommend a typewriter-or you can make copies of the 'new' sheet and test it out alignment before printing the final copy. Have you everheard of 'Paperport'-its a scanning program (flat bed color scanner). it has a feature that allows me to scan in a form and insert 'fields' -its called FormTyper (I think). -Paul

Sounds like you already have a blank option sheet sticker, but if not go to my webpage in my sig and at the very bottom of the first page is a former board member's program that lets you input the options and then print the opiton sheet from your color printer. If you had paper that has a peel off backing, you would be set. I think the program works in Excel and a few other common spreadsheets. Other than that, I don't know anything about the file.

Thumbs up

I glad that in some small way I could help someone out. Lord knows there's a lot of people on here that helped me. That's what this board is all about.
