removing door panel paint
What can i use/easiest way to remove paint from the door panel? My dumb butt painted the door panels about 5 years ago with some cheap autozone paint and the paint didnt stick.
 some yea they look ugly and i want to dye them now. thanks guys.

you can prolly use some paint thinner to get the stuff that aint so loose off

paint thinner or MEK will probably melt the door panel...like said previously, I would use scotchbrite and some water...

I always wondered if soda blasting would work if the pressure was turned way down. I've seen demonstrations on aluminum cans where it didn't even dent the can, and on cars, you can actually remove paint in layers. Just curious. I have a perfect 73-74 grille that somebody painted black that just has too many cracks and crevices to try and scotchbrite completely. The solvents in the new paint will lift and bubble all the old paint you can't get off. Don't ask me how I know this......

I used lacquer thinner and about 10 yours of time to remove the old die from my door panels and dash pad.

I've used Acetone with good success. Can get it at the local hardware store. Repainted my dash that way.

liiiigght sandblasting..
we use it on fiberglass on aircraft..they make small kit for it with your compresor.. i just have no clue where to get them.. and.. well it's not supercheap.. but not expensive you'd be surprised how much u end up using it..
