Question 1965 corvette steering wheel in a 67 C10 ? anybody have one ?

I fool with these woodgrain factory wheel's all the time and this is the type of wheel that is in my 67 camaro , I just won this one on ebay and have not received it yet but was just wondering how it would look and drive if I put it in my 67 shortbed ? I bought it to sell on ebay but it may end up in my truck ? what do you guy's think it would look like and has anyone else got one in a 67 to 72 like it ?

I had a 71 vette wheel on a 71 1/2 ton that I had. It looked good but it is a bit too deep dished. These trucks put the steering wheel in your chest as it was. When you put a deep wheel on,,it makes it worse.I had a floor shift truck a while back.I solved the problem by cutting the column by 4".That gets it out of your chest and you can run a deep wheel.-Keith

Not sure about the vette wheel, but I put a 69 Camaro Comfort Grip wheel in my old 70 GMC. Looks like the wood wheel spokes, but a black rubber grip. They are $199 from Muscle Factory with 67-68 or 69 adapters, horn kit, and center cap. The earlier adapter aligns better.

You might need to try it to see if it works o.k. for you. The woodgrain wheels have like a 4 or 4.5 inch dish to them where the three spoke comfort grips are much flatter. They are nice looking wheels though.

You stole that.I sold a black grip Chevelle wheel like that for that much last summer.Everything bolts up.I`m not so big at 5'10"/185#,that the depth matters.

I use the Chevelle 3-spoke cushion grip also. Like Mike C said,...use the '67-'68 Camaro wood wheel adapter. It fits the diameter of the truck columns better that the '69 adapter.

Here is my blazer with vette wheel. Looks great but I actually prefer a wheel with a thicker rim. Huck
