Replacement parts.

I will be buying some path panels, and misc items such as outside door handles, and grill parts for my 69. Who have had yall had the best luck with as far as quality and price goes? I have bought some stuff from LMC in the past and it has been pretty much foreign made junk. Please help me pick a good vendor.

Re: Replacement parts.

I like LMC. Classic parts is good also. They all pretty much get the parts from the same sources. Most stuff is acceptable in quality but some are marginal. Its good to get several catalogs as one may have something the other doesn't & sometimes there is a variation in price.

my suggestion is goto this board http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...splay.php?f=26 and read/ search for other folks comments on LMC and other vendors...also click on the Vendors link in my signature below...scroll down a little...there's a list there too....

Re: Replacement parts.

The BB vendors also generally have better pricing than LMC.They also know the trucks and build them so they can be a wealth of info that LMC doesn't even aspire to.

Re: Replacement parts.

No experience on my truck, but I hear GMC Pauls keeps very close tabs on their sheet metal quality and a they're a board vender too. Prices look good on their site.
