Last Spring I lost the cruise control linkage from the accelerator chain. It manage to break loose causing all kinds of havoc that I did not know at the time and thought my truck was just going to run away or blow up! It wasn't replaced. Do any of y'all know of a source where I might find one. I thought at one time LMC listed one in their catalog, but the most recent one does not have it. It would be nice to have it available again especially for long highway trips and fuel economy purposes.

Any feedback will be appreciated!

Can you post a picture of the cable end? It's been a while since I've seen a stock cable.

You may need to go with a new chain cable end. A carburator kit will have what you need. Post a pic. I may some left over stuff you can have for free if it helps.

And I'll check at work tomorrow to see if the parts are still available from G.M. if they are I'll post the part numbers on here for you so you can go to your local dealership to order them up.

Try pull-a-part on buford highway south of pleasant hill rd. It costs $1 to get in, but their prices are great. That's the first junkyard I goto.
