Air Bags
I see a lot of you guys have installed bags along the outside of the frame along with a C notch.
When I lower mine I won't be dropping it far enough to need a notch (only about 4") and I was wondering if there was an air bag set up that can be installed in the same position and in place of the stock springs....in between the frame and the trailing arms....and if so, has anyone used them? What brand/model? Did they work out well for you? Thanks in advance for the info. |

Re: Air Bags
Just get a Slam Specialties RE-6 or a RE-7 & drill a few holes in your frame & replace your springs with the air bags

Re: Air Bags
Thanks C10addict and Spray-Bomb. I'm glad to see it's not too tough to do or to afford !!
$450 at this site ....http://www.ridetech.com/products/Che...r-930-928.html I found it for a little less though.... Try searching ARR 21800 Looks like the Slam Specialties are about $75 each. http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/air...bags-slam.html Last edited by DB Smith; 12-12-2008 at 05:53 PM. |

Re: Air Bags
my kit was close to 3 grand but I bought the big red valves and the dakota digital multi function gauge... Good valves are where all the money is at!
