Spotlight Pic - Installed and In Action

finally was able to get the truck tuned up, and out of the garage last weekend. thought I'd fire up the spotlight and get a few pics.

bought this dealer installed Unity S-6 spot from a board member and restored it a few months ago with new bucket assembly, gears, wiring, and hardware. I wanted that old school/county department truck feel, so what better than a spotlight? however it was disheartening drilling that .50" diameter hole through that "A" pillar!

regardless, I'm happy with the look. thinking I will go doubles someday, but that's after I get the radio delete cowl installed...... passenger side will not fit unless the antenna is gone.

That baby looks good Doug... Glad you got it on with no problems. I have a pretty nice one. It is complete except for the trim ring. Where did you get the parts?

Re: Spotlight Pic - Installed and In Action

yeah the seat cover is a bit outrageous, but it's better than what's underneath! barf.

Leon, go to:
http://www.unityusa.com/ for replacement parts and the like. if you need any help finding something in particular, pm me. I've done two of these now and I have some "free" parts for ya if you need them.

the Unity restoration parts ship out of Chicago and are STILL being produce in the U.S!! one would look NICE on you new custom camper!!!!!

Re: Spotlight Pic - Installed and In Action

I didnt realize the passenger side wouldnt fit with the antenna on there. I need to find pics of the truck I got the dual spots off of and check it out. Good thing I have an extra cowl without the antenna hole.

That is what i was wondering. I was going to sandblast my stock ones and roll with them. I do like the looks of the corvette ralleys too though.

Re: Spotlight Pic - Installed and In Action

here's a few more of the spotlight mounting. fairly straightforward, thanks to Classic Bowties instructions and drill bushing!

the rims are made up per order basis from RallyAmerica.com. VERY nice guy. he's a member of the H.A.M.B. and is a motorhead as well. they are 15 x 7's on all four corners painted satin gray. simple and straightforward. less than $65 a piece, made in the U.S., and built very well.

on patrol.....

txfirefighter, I'll pm tonight.

Leon, I'm serious. find out what you need and I'll take a look through some of my spares.
