Re: 70 Quadra trak?
That's pretty slick, I wonder if the owner can switch from tracks to tires. It kind of reminds me of those track kits you can get for atv's. It would be a blast driving that truck in the snow!

Re: 70 Quadra trak?
With the snow expected this weekend around here that would be a good rig to have.

Re: 70 Quadra trak?
I have a set of those for my Arctic Cat, we never have snow around here but they work great in the mud! Nothing can slow it down.

Re: 70 Quadra trak?
Stacy David did that on his "Trucks" show a few years back. Only, he used a later truck to do it on.

Re: 70 Quadra trak?
Just unbolt the wheels and bolt on the tracks. We had a couple sets of those at the sheriffs dept years ago. And there is a Suburban and a Wrangler that have them up where we snowmobile. They work OK on the snow.

Re: 70 Quadra trak?
So, the guy calls in and says, "I'm snowed-in so I can't make it today" when he really wants to go out and rescue people who tried to drive on stuff they had no expectation of navigating.....and making some bucks to replace the money he's gonna lose by not being at work....
Hey, it can happen!
