Re: 5 lug disc front end/ suspension parts

Pont406, I should have everything needed, spindles, rotors, calipers, A arms if needed, I haven't done the swap personally, so I'm not sure if the A arms are different or not. Maybe another member who has done this swap can answer this.
Shipping would run $35
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
I will probablly buy a set. I need a couple of days to do a research. I heard something about tie rods being different. $35 shipping including the a-arms? I will let you know. Thanks a lot.

Re: 5 lug disc front end/ suspension parts

Pont406, Spindles out is all you need, the A-arms are the same (67-72, 1/2 and 3/4ton), just replace the upper and lower balljoint with a 71-2 1/2 ton and you are on your way.

Tom, I may take a set of spindles, rotors, calipers since my 2wd Blazer deserves 5-lug instead of the 8-lug stuff I used?! I'll drop a PM to ya.

Re: 5 lug disc front end/ suspension parts

I'd be interested in a pair of lower control arms (1/2 ton) in good condition. Let me know how much, shipped to California 92705. Thanks, John

You will also need the Drag Link (Center Link) AND 71'-72' Tie Rods because the 69' drag link tapered holes are smaller than the 71'-72' drag link. Pitman Arms for 67'-72' are the same. Note: The later model parts 73'-87' won't interchange with the 71'-72' parts either. Use all 71'-72' parts and you'll be fine. 70rs/ss already mentioned ball joints.

Also, Master Cylinder, Proportional Valve (69' has a distribution block) and the brake lines are different.

I just completed this swap this past weekend. PM if you need help.

Tom, FYI, Upper an Lower Control Arms are the same for 67'-72'. Other suspension parts such as tie rods, ball joints and drag link require changing. In addition to M/C, Prop Valve and front brake lines. Good Luck with selling your parts.
