help - shifter problems
I have a 71 long bed, 3 speed on the col.
I read the thread on shifter adjustments and tried that but it did not help. It's hard to tell what gear it's in and it gets stuck alot when shifting. Is is just plain worn out? Any suggestions? |

Re: help - shifter problems
Try replacing the bushings on the shifter rods/arms.They are nylon and should be available from any vendor or from the local auto parts store. You will probably have to readjust the linkage afterward. They will be on the shift rods where they go thru the flat shifter arms.
