Anyone know the setup on this truck?

I ran across this photo looking thru past posts and wondered if anyone knew the paticulars as to suspension drop/method and wheel and tire size. Looks like the rear wheels must 12" or so....are the wheelwells widened?

Re: Anyone know the setup on this truck?

The wheel tubs are widened I do know that. As far as the susp. I can't recall the specs. I am pretty sure it had air ride on it though.

Funny , the guy that owned ,that truck lived about 1 mile away from me (literally) ,and I never knew it until about a month before he sold it.

Re: Anyone know the setup on this truck?

Good luck rebuilding this truck.... unless you have some serious $$$$ backing your build.

I've got a ton more pics of this truck, if you would like to have them emailed to you, shoot me your email in a pm, and I will send them out.

As far as the suspension, it is running on air.

Re: Anyone know the setup on this truck?

Here are a few more pics of it. I found it on a site a few months back before the Barrett Jackson auction. You can pull up the sell list from the Las Vegas sale and it was a steal for someone because it sold for $50,000!!!!

Nothing wrong with wanting to build a truck like that,if you did want to.No one knows what you can and can`t do.

IIRC that truck is refered to in some cases as "The Fesler Built" It is a top notch build.

That is incorrect. Fesler built a similar truck, not that one.

Pretty clean truck.

You can put a 15" wide wheel out back using a stock frame? What about the rearend?

Yeah, I kinda like the full door panels too.
You can fit 15" total width rims (15x14's) w/o modifying the frame (other than removing the outer rear bumpstops). You can narrow the housing or you can leave it alone & have custom back-space wheels built. The rear on that truck was a slightly narrowed 9" IIRC.

Re: Anyone know the setup on this truck?

So with, let's say, a 20x15" rim would you be ok or is that "narrowed rearend" territory? I'm assuming if it even is, you'd be looking at very little (if any) lip to the rim. And fitting those under a stock bed is another story. LOL
