Re: Im Lazy.........

Welcome to the board from the Heart of Arkansas!

Inspiration comes in many forms and always is free. Money, on the other hand, is not what you will find on this board, although there will be plenty of times when the inspiration and help will be cost-saving items.

I enjoyed showing the kids a poster that had about a half-dozen cars outside a ginormous garage with the heading, "Inspiration To Get A College Education". It didn't work, but it was inspiring. Kinda like this website. As inspiring as it may be, the inspirations don't always do the job.

Everytime somebody posts a thread or a comment about driving their truck, I am inspired. Then, I walk outside and see that it still needs a buttload of work that is waiting on someone else to get done, and the inspiration is moot.

It'll get there. But, don't let these downer comments take away any inpirational comments that others may offer. After 61 years, I'm starting to get used to the idea that things don't always go my way.

You're just 'fighting the bear'. Up north here this time of year you get the natural urge to hibernate. Thats all.

I just checked out your build thread. You must have some kind of heated space to be squirting primer this time of year.

Hang in there. Come spring you'll find all kinds of energy to attack your project.

I've got that hibernating urge now, and I'm in Missouri... I need a better heater in the shop, plus its so full of half done projects,, I dont even have room to work there.. maybe I need to get a bigger shop with floor heat!

Re: Im Lazy.........

Trust Me, If you had a bigger shop, you would collect more stuff and have more 1/2 finished projects.

Re: Im Lazy.........

Yea its pretty cold up here and it makes it all the more difficult to get motivated. Im usein a propane heater on top of my electric wall heater to keep the garage warm. gets alittle spendy.

How does that work with spraying automotive paints?
I'm assuming it works because you are still with us.
Do you heat up the garage, shut off the flame, then spray?

Re: Im Lazy.........

Yea it is pretty scary to think. Spraying paint and running a heater? Well it does suck, I get the garage nice and warm like 80 haha. Then start spraying. let it sit as long as possible then open the garage air it out and then comes the scary part. SHUT the garage and fire up the heater. Hope all the fumes are out. So far its been working but if im not around the forums in the next couple of days you can make a pretty good guess as to what happend to me. HAHA!!!
Happy Builds to all.
