Quick!!??
my buddy has a th350 trans out of a 85 chevrolet truck, he wants 50 bucks for it..is it worth it, and how much will it take to put it in my truck, and if i dont want it, can i resale it for at least 50 dollars? thanks please reply fast im bout to go back into town (10 miles, on 10 per gallone truck) lol thanks

i agree, it's worth at least the core.
*edit* looked at your build. you would need an automatic crossmember, steering column (if you want to put it there, the floor shift automatic would be cool too), and the kickdown. possibly have to shorten the driveshaft, but maybe not.

Local junkyard can give you an idea what its worth in your area.
To swap an auto for a 3 spd man. you might want to do a search its not all that hard but you will need to remove old cross member,get one for auto,starter,flywheel,shifter, either floor or swap column,tv cable bracket,cooler..ect..ect |

Ya its worth it for the core. Do you know if it functions properly? Its not a hard swap to do, and its fun to make sparks when you cut out the old crossmember. Unless your trying to swap it with the engine still in place, that would suck.
