Question Odd Signal Light Problem

So I go to drive my truck this morning and it is cold here -20 Cecius (approx -5 Fahrenheit). Aside from my continuing choke difficulties, I notice something odd about my signal lights. They are flashing at about twice their regular speed.

All lights are working (and I'm not pulling a trailer). I assume my signal lights are drawing more amperage, causing the relay to heat faster. What would cause this? Could the cold be contributing? Never experienced this before - and we certainly experience even colder conditions here (but they say it should be back up to the freezing mark by the weekend - - - "back up" - - some of you must love that, eh?).

Any thoughts?

A few years back my signals started acting really weird. Some going fast, some going slow, some worked only when they wanted. Anyway I changed the flasher and everything was fixed. Try the flasher and see what happens. Make sure you get the right one.
