Rear Control Arm Bushings

I have a question for the masses;

Are the rear control arm bushings pressed in? Do you have to have a press to replace/change them?

Sorry for the question, but I replaced most of this stuff on the first truck with ladderbars.....

I used sockets and c-clamp to replace ours. I have heard of people drilling the old ones out.

I took mine to the local spring shop and had them press them in and out
You need to be careful - you can bend the trailing arm if it is not correctly supported when you press them out

you could use a torch to burn them out. that has worked for me in the past.

i've used the torch removal and cclamp install on the ones i've done

If you are going to use the Urethane bushings, you need to use the existing shell, but not the sleeve and rubber, right?

Same for me...this is the easiest way to get them out. Done that in the shop for years.
