67 chevy cst how rare?

I have a 1967 chevy short bed pickup, i was wondering how rare it is? it has a bunch of factory options, probably the most i have seen on a 67, they are big back window, fleetside bed with a steel floor, 3.73 posi rear end, a 400 turbo tranny, a 327 engine, it was a cst with all the trim, im thinking it had bucket seats, it has air conditioning, power steering, and it has a 3 hole dash with a speed warning alert in it, everything is still there except orginal motor and bucket seats, i still have a factory glove box sticker that list everything on it. Is this truck rare? if so how many do u think they made like this? im doing a frame up on it, it still has the factory cab corner in the passenger side that has no rust. i you could help me find out how rare it is i would appreciate it.

It is rarer then a regular chevy but its not one of a kind. It definetly is worth restoring and it sounds like it is a nice truck. But it isn't rare like a yenko chevelle would be rare.

I would not say that it would be all that rare.
But I would not say that is was all that common either.
I would say it sounds like a highly desirable survivor.
Those are awesome options to have on from the factory.
Is the restore going to be original or modified?
Lets see some pics:

The bucket seats were part og the CST package in 67.
Fleet side with steel floor was standard.
Interesting thing is the 3 hole inst panel...normally the loaded trucks had the guages. (My old CST/20 longhorn was the same as yours on that...so it was not unheard of)
I agree though...not so much rare, but pretty dang desirable.

I thought the wood floor was standard on 67 and steel floor was the option.

My book says that only 3 percent of 67's were equipped with the CST option. Especially since it's a short bed it's a pretty unusual and desireable confiruration IMO. Any pitures?

67s came standard with wood floor, unless ordered otherwise.the speedwarning is cool,id use the parts to put in a tac dash atleast.Buckets were a part of the CST package.and the GMC customs of same years.

I talked to General Motors about mine. They told me that there was 16,000 CST's built in 67. They told me that 4,000 of them was 3/4 ton. They couldn't tell me how many of the 12,000 1/2 ton had beds on them when they where sold. Mine has a metel floor in the bed in the CST. The plane jane step has a wood floor bed. Mine has all the options minus the tach. The factory tach was only good for 5,000 RPM's. The 327/275 HP that came out in mine is good for more than 5,000 RPM. They went up to a 327/375 HP. That explaines the no tach in the CST's. I think that the large back glass was a special order. Both of mine has the small back glass. I think they where standard in 67 and a option in 68. I think they are the best looking of the 67-72 trucks because of the slope of the hood and no markers. Frame up (gulp) Thats going to run around 15 grand. plus tires and wheels. You might consider letting me take that off your hands before you get started. LOL I'm all but done with mine hehe. goes in for paint next week. Good luck and injoy. If you have any rust on the sheet metel take a close look at what it cost to put on new. I ran into that, paying the bodyshop to fix something or buying new. I bought new.

On page 4 of my '67 restoration catalog, it shows that option code E81 got you a wooden floor with steel skid strips. (fleet side pick ups only)

I beleive that they called it panoramic glass option for the 67.
There was no optional rear glass in 68.
Maybe a Slider window in 69.

Again correct me if i am wrong in this line of thought, as we are all in this together.

Was there also the custom option package for chevrolet in 67?

3 Hole dash question

The 3 hole dash as you call it, are you reffering to the TACH Dash? If so, anybody needs a new lenses for thiers, as in NOS, there is one on EBAY right now for sale.

the 3 hole dash has speedo, fuel, and a lense in the center with dummy lights. No oil, amps or temp.
