power plant question
getting ready to install a (i belive) 250/powerglide into my 67 swb? it was in a 4 door 64 impala dont think its origional,its a rebuild. how do tell what cid it is?

The number will be on the passenger side of the block, above the rear side cover, near where the oil pressure sender screws in.

thanks guys, is a powerglide the same length as a th350? will i need to move my auto crossmember?

It seems that they are the same. A glide is shorter but has a longer tailshaft so it's the same length. It also seems that all the 4 speeds (car) are the same length as the autos.

anyone got pics of 250 engine mounts? not the towers, but the ones that bolt to the block. are there any special spacers,adapters? thanks
