Nothing since friday. I've been watching thundercats for 2 days straight except for going out to smoke cigs.

Re: What did you get done? 12/
Rebuilt the entire exhaust system on my friends truck, gave him my cadaletic converter out of my blazer, whacked out some idiots handy work out of said blazer, cleaned it out too, worked on welding in a new piece of the floor. Caught the truck on fire numerous times, and luckily am still at a 1:1 fire to extinguish ratio...

anyways, I had to get that out...I wish I could have caught some of that on tv...anyways, I changed the oil and filter in my diesel...paid $32 for oil and filter and did it myself...the service station wanted to charge me $110...get that...don't think so...I also changed the fuel filter, what a pain trying to bleed the new fuel filter...also replaced a headlight adjuster and adjusted the headlights and did the headlight mod...wow what a difference...I still need to install the new to me water temp gauge and dash bezel I got in the mail... Chuck. |

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
Changed the oil, ground down the bolts on the oil bypass to allow my System1 filter to seat. Dripping oil tells me I have a little more to grind off. So back to the grinder I go.

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
shoveled snow... moved my truck for the first time in a month to where it will be for the rest of the winter. O lost my blackberry in the snow after my car got stuck and my girlfriends step dad who plows but never clears his own drive way decided to plow where my phone is... but i did get a good deal on a van, 100 bucks and it runs and drives! i got it because the lady was going to get charged for it getting towed from her apartment... so i guess its was alright weekend

Shoveled snow, did a little Christmas shopping, took my daughter to see Santa, and installed the inner fenders on Yeller.

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
Been working the weekends lately & worked all day this Sat too. But..... I was off today .
Didn't get much truck related stuff done though. I tried to locate the source of my wiring dilemma on the 74. The temps & wind weren't cooperating so I didn't look very long before heading back inside. I'll play around some more over the holiday week.

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
very nice, how were they??
I spent some time behind a snow blower, way to much time to be exact. Drank some adult beverages, tried to stay warm and picked up a new crafstman tool box as an early christmas gift.

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
Hauled my buddy’s 55 Ford back to his house Saturday morning. Other than that I just sat on my butt all weekend and rested up for the last workdays before Christmas.
Here's a picture of my December work truck...............

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
Ripped out my interior. I got a simple 85 Custom Deluxe 10. Pulled the door panels and the dash panel the doors are getting tweed that the dash is getting an overlay. I'm getting door panel extensions and carpet. While I have it apart I'm going to drop in a tilt column and maybe aftermarket air. I've been smelling antifreeze so I think my core may be leaking.

Re: What did you get done? 12/21
Bought my compressor, some additional tools, some air tools, work cart. More cleaning out of old junk in garage to make room for the 78 to go in this week.
More parts in from Summit and Ebay. New shelving units lining the garage to store parts and misc. Prepped motor for paint. Should be moving the truck in to begin disassembly this week, finally! Only thing left to get is the new welder. Will be picking that up after the first of the year.

Got the camaro's new short block assembled. I had my space heater on high and it was still only 45 degrees in the garage....winter sucks! Trying to set up a dial indicator while shivering is hell.
