does anyone know? i have a 69 half ton supposed to be a 350. it definetly looks like a 350 and i pulled a number off the block on the passenger side next to the head. it reads V0320WK. can anyone help me?

to find out the engine size you really got to get the number off of the crank.a 350 looks alot like an old 265 too. get the number and report back. dave

WK is a correct 69 engine. I have the same 350 in my 69.

1969 WK 350 tur hydro - 255 4 C-10 to 35

Starting in 1968, all engines should have a portion of the vehicles VIN stamped on it. Any more numbers on that pad? Check down by the oil filter too.

If they match your VIN, that proves it to be original and makes it a, "matching numbers vehicle".

They did not stamp VIN numbers on truck engines in any '67 - '72 applications. They did on some car engines. Not sure what year they started putting VINs on truck engines, but it was much later.

I wonder why trucks were always the last to get things. ???
