Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
you're not gonna lay out with a 22" on a stepside with the stock width rear-end. tires gonna interfere with the inside of the stepside fenders.

Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
you can build a 67 stepside
on 22 inch wheels and make it lay out. You will have to raise the fenders up to the bottom of the bed rails. You will have to a step knotch and raise the bed floor. You can run irs on air and leave the bed floor where it is and just make room for the a-arms. This is more money to do it that way.If you run a solid rear axle you will have a large driveshaft tunnel running thru the cab.You can achieve this with the stock frame and purchase front crossmembers from porter built or sucide or if you want a custom ifs you can choose Scotts superslam that will have up to 12 inches of travel and setup to lay out with 22 inch wheels. If you want a custom tube chassis we can offer one of our scotts superslam chassis to lay out front and rear. Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
No they won't fit, well "factory setup". Anythings possible, get creative, start cutting, raise fenders or whatever you can come up with. now the 24's may be a little more tricky to make fit..

Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
If folks can get 24s on s10s its possible for a fullsize. But not a step side bed. Theres a local guy whos 20s are cutting into his step sides fenders at the top badly. So they will need to be raised a good big. But with a shortened rear end and the right backspacing 24s should be possible on a fleet side

Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
Going low with a Stepside is tough. You could raise your fenders like the other guys were saying, but if you are a guy that pays close attention to body lines it will be a little messed up. I have attached a link to a fella that was having the same problems with 20's. I dig Stepsides but laying frame with a fleet appears to be less of an a$$ pain.

Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
I would section the fenders & add height to the top section (keeping the bodyline constant) before raising the entire fender.

Re: 22's on a stepside laid out.
I would keep the body line and add just above it, and if you take the slope out of the 60's model beds it would be possible to get 22's i believe, but thats a lot of reworking rear fenders. Well if your going to get a fleet and just do it that way thats cool, post up some pics when you get it
