Who else makes a bolt in C - notch?
I just took advantage of SuicideDoors' December bag deal, and am now looking for a bolt in C - notch for my 69 SWB. I've only been able to find the one made by CPP, but what else is out there?
Thanks |

Re: Who else makes a bolt in C - notch?
CPP, McGaughy's and ART that I am aware of. CPP is cheaper than and fits better than the McG piece from what I've seen. No experience with the ART piece, but it is twice the money of the CPP piece...

Re: Who else makes a bolt in C - notch?
I just installed a McGaughy's c-notch.
If you make yourself a very good template and install it exactly where they say to,... it fits pretty good. These trucks have basically, two straight sections of frame, with a diagonal section between them, where the frame is crooked. The McGaughy notch has a slight gap from the frame in the diagonal area. BUT the two straight sections fit the frame nice and tight. You need to remove 7 frame rivets on each side. Then you'll need to drill eight 7/16" holes. The McGaughy's c-notch also comes coated with some type of gray paint/? that doesn't rust. I'll post pics when I get my bags mounted and the notch painted black.

Check on the shipping before hand. That's where they got me on my upper a-arm purchase.
