Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
Well it has been a long time coming, but here are the first prototype patches that we are manufacturing for the Blazer front, lower, inner, quarter support. I need to figure out what to call them... The holes are not punched and the weld nuts are not welded to them, but the final product will have that done. Just wanted to give you guys an update and see what you think. These fit great and we should be just a few days to a weak or so out to the final product. I am sorry but we do not have a final price yet. WES
Maybe call it Blazer Bed Front Pillar Patch?

Merry X-Mas to the blazer crowd!
Thanks for your efforts WES. What about just calling it the lower 'B' pillar patch? |

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
Your welcome!! I am sorry it has taken as long as it has. I just got the call on the price.... Can we say ouch!!!! It looks like $129.95 each for now. They are extreemly labor intencive. The price may come down a bit once we get a better or faster method of reproducing them. They are all done by hand now. Keep in mind the holes and weld nuts will be installed and cut in the next ones. WES
If you want one or a pair you can call me toll free 888-338-2502 and I will make sure that you get some from our first run. We are waiting on the weld nuts to get here for that. WES

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
Ya, I was shocked myself... But I guess that on a good note they are made in the USA!!
I thought about calling them the "B" pillar, but that is what the front door rear pillar patch is called isn't it? That fits in front of this.. WES

How about lower rear 'B' pillar patch panel. Price? It is what is, I can't make, so it is what the market bears

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
Wow - thanks for the continued effort to fabricate replacement parts for these trucks...(and ones that fit for sure)
Now all we need is a windshield frame replacement piece - and the market will start to jump back up on the junkers rotting in the yards. Thanks again for your efforts! Happy Holidays. |

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
Nice work. I know how long it takes for this type of work. Templates; fitting; cutting; trimming; bending; shrinking; stretching; welding; etc., etc., etc. Those who can do this are few and far between. Having a friend who is creating parts from 20-ga. sheet metal and that I have been documenting, proves that it is an art.

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
We hope to have them within a weak or so. At least a few of sets. Now that the templates have been made, future parts should either be on the shelf or not far from that..lol WES

Re: Lower Front of Rear Quarter Support Proto Type Done!!!!
My AZ/NM 2wd Blazer needs these oddly enough?? My 4X4 was as perfect a Blazer as I've seen as far as rust goes, so I was not too awful shocked the 2wd from the arid Southwest had some, but I was just going to roll it as is, since I was worried about the patch panels (since NOS Blazer bedsides seem to like to fetch $2500 for both, patching is what will happen when/if I get around to fixin' it?!) Thanks, WES, you are Da Man, when it comes to makin' the stuff we Blazer guys JONES for!!
