utility bed to step swap
Found a 71 custom utility bed. Cab is in good shape, 307/auto. If i remove the boxes will i be left with a step side needing fenders? Seems the storage boxes are bolted to the bed. Or, is a utility rare by any stretch and worth keeping stock? Ive always wanted a step.

Re: utility bed to step swap
Sure can. I have seen several stepsides with those boxes added.
Take'm off. You can buy new stepside fenders.
