Is this James Blanton's new ebay name?
This ad sure seems like it would be, with lsparts@att.com being a similar email to his last one for Lone Star truck parts.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/67-68...Q5fAccessories I bet it's him

Re: Is this James Blanton's new ebay name?
Hey guys I read part of a thread on here about him when I first signed up, what is the story on this guy? You don't have to go into a great deal of details. Just wondering.

Re: Is this James Blanton's new ebay name?
man , i just got taken. i know all the warnings and checked and checked , and was thinking this him . i bought this bearing and ball joint kit a couple weeks ago on a buy it now within hours of being listed and he assured me it was all good . first he took a few days after he said it would ship to get it out then it takes a week parcel post to get . so when i get them it looked legit so i lefted good feedback . then i checked the numbers on the bearings ... the inners were 70's h-body and the outers were 79 up impalas . which isnt a big deal i wanted the ball joints . he claimed he got the wronmg ones and he is goin to get the right ones and make it good woth me . i been writing him everday wanting results . he told me on friday he would know and write me on monday . tuesday came and i wrote him ,then says "they" are shipping the right ones to him on friday and i will get them in about 10 days ?? if he wanted to make things right , wouldnt you just refund some money or run to you local orreily's and pick up a set ? i cant believe it , yet i had that crappy feeling about this guy , i hope the ball joints are right . i did a ebay comtact information request and came back with karin woolard in mesquite with a phone number of 972 698 8866. and the the emails said johnny and karin ? i last yesterday asked him for a phone number that i could call and talk to him , but no responce yet . although his listing say that to call his knowledgable staff , it doesnt show a number . but i do plan on being an this ! linking doesnt seem to work ,keps bringing up a invalid item . item # 220326477764

His "knowledgeable staff" consists of his two pit bulls and one sickly Chihuahua "chew toy" that have an affinity for "Ol Roy" dog food.

66, remember that you only have 45 days to file a dispute thru Paypal. After that you are screwed. Blanton will use promises & delay tactics to get past that deadline.

Re: Is this James Blanton's new ebay name?
I've been to his place [a few years back]....the chrome stuff he had that day is the worst I have ever seen. After that trip and seeing the crap he sells that his 'excellent' chrome shop puts out, I decided to never buy anything from him. He is your typical POS parts dealer, but with fewer scruples than anyone else in the biz. I doubt he will ever get shut down regardless of anything anyone does on ebay and that's a shame.
Glad you guys are keeping up with his ever changing name game.

Re: Is this James Blanton's new ebay name?
47 deals and 100% feedback, yeah right!Shows how stats can lie.Give us the whole picture.I guess he`s what you`d call a born again ripoff.
A pair of steel truck hinges "beadblasted" then chromed? Sandblasting is what would be in order according to my book.I doubt he`d use a more expensve media where not required and less effective. 50-72 trucks? Not 47-49s?Why not.Any "expert" knows they are all the same design.

Yeah its the same chair used in his photos in the past and the picture is in front of his house. When did he get a staff? Our "staff" costs us money
I guess he sold his ebay business and had a grand re-opening in the same location but changed to a Mesquite location. Reminds me of some furniture stores. |

Also, I think the reason he has 100% positive feedback is that many of his initial offerings were private listings probably sold to friends to build his feedback.
