Has anyone used......?
Herculiner? The do-it-yourself roll on bed liner. I saw it at the store for under one hundred bucks. Comes with brush, two rollers, and a gallon of the bed liner stuff. How is the durability as appose to the spray in type?

Done a beat up Jeep tub. Not very durable and the sun beat it into a not so good looking shade of grey in less than six months! If i was doing a rig to keep, have it sprayed...LineX or Rhino.

Re: Has anyone used......?
I've not heard any good long term results with the do it yourself kits.

Another vote for bad review. I tried it and was seriously unhappy with it.

Re: Has anyone used......?
it has been about 5 years or so,but PPG offered a spray-in liner kit.The actual liner was clear and you bought whatever color paint you wanted for the color.I used this on the inside of my box,2 kits and this never faded. Not nearly as thick as a linex or rhino, but I did it myself, color matched and at that time was a quarter of the price of the other guys

Re: Has anyone used......?
Never heard of that PPG liner. So you just mix it with whatever color paint you have ? Looks good. Hard to tell it's a liner at a first glance.

Re: Has anyone used......?
yep,mix the liner and the paint. You have to use the same type of gun that those other kits sell because you need the bigger tip,but that's pretty much it

Re: Has anyone used......?
it is highly popular among jeep owners. I am using it o n the cab floor and inside of the fenders on my 4x4. But in something that take abuse like a bed I think a spray in would be better. I have seen some real nice stuff from Line X

Re: Has anyone used......?
I was looking into Al's liner, http://www.alsliner.com. looks like it would be a great alternative to the professional liners at a close to DIY price. I guess one of the down falls is having to buy the applicator gun but it still seems like a deal to me.
As far as the hurculiner, I've used it as a bed liner and an undercoating. It wears off pretty quickly if you actually use your bed. As an undercoating it seems to be working very well.
