New Bumper Guards
Pictures of my Christmas present to me - bumpers guards I bought from 72ironmike installed on my 71. (Thanks Mike) I also installed new LED tail lights. They look great when lit up.

Re: New Bumper Guards
Looks great! Chevy 4wds look great with those, naked w/o.I can`t get used to them on my GMC,though.Like they interfere with what`s going on with the grille.I have the 67-70 style to use(if I can live with them being the wrong year).
I dig your "dare to be different" yet "common as heck back in the day" choice of wheels. They are perfect for these trucks.Everyone got tired of spokes,so they went away. Now,it`s rare to see anice truck with them. It`s like putting Torque Thrusts on a GTO except not everybody is doing it.

Re: New Bumper Guards
Thanks everyone. Trevor - I am still envious of your interior. I have a set of buckets in the attic that need recovering . . . maybe a future enhancement. (Do you guys still have that killer white truck with the 54's?.) Orange and White is a daily driver and dirt bike hauler for now. Been collecting parts for a couple of years. Still a year or two away from the tear down. Tim, I lucked out on the retro wheels. They are alloy American Racing. I had a set on a 79back in the day. Found them for sale on the board about 6 years ago for $100 for all 4. They were covered with moss and dirt (Seattle) and looked like crap. I was able to salvage them after hours of sanding and polishing they came out looking good.
