Pictures of the items, like: tool box door, tow hooks, aux bat box will help people decide & show the condition/value. Rust and damage will be of concern.

Re: 72 gmc rare parts

pictures are in the link at the top of the thread..... as for the dash.. it has the extra gauges at the bottom not dummy lights but the tach is not factory and is taped in. only the auxillery small gauges are worth anything.

ill get shipping prices soon, and some more pics

Re: 72 gmc rare parts

some new pics...the hooks apear to have no damage, i know they have been inside for upwards of 30 years off of the truck, he chrome isnt perfect on then though.

the trays are both solid.. surface rust but no holes... i dont know which is which but one of them has a tear for the bolt hole on the botto mounting hole.. seen in pic

the door was taken off of the truck in the late 70s i beleive and has also been inside this whole time.... there are no holes as far as i can see... it seems to be pretty solid, if no one shows intertest im gonna sandblast it.

the column i will get back to you on

the tailgate trim is in great condition, both the tailgate and trim were also taken off in the late 70s, my grandfather sanded and primed part of the tailgate and was too busy to ever put it back opn. the tailgate is extremely solid and the trim peice is great.. only the paint on the letters gmc is comming off

as far as emblems go, the front gmc letters arent perfect and have broken tabs, the sierra emblems both were glued on and seem fine, and the door emblems both have both tabs

I WILL GET SHIPPING PRICES SOON

more pics are no problem.. please inquire

Interested in the emblems and glove box door. I wouldn't need the hood emblems. What is the condition of the glovebox door? thanks, Eric

Re: 72 gmc rare parts

okay

i checked the column, it has its wiring still intact, the turn signal lever moves and clicks fine, the gear shift lever also was and is in fine working condition, however there is a peice missing that goes behind the letters p r n 123, i think the peice is red or orange to better show the gear. the tilt on it is very tight, i actually suprised myself.

i found some mirrors, they might be the 72 only ones but im not sure... you guys would know better than me. one looks new and the other is very nice but the mirror itself has gone bad. $50 for the two

the dual tank is solid, however, there is one hole in the top and a hole in the bottom, it would need to be patched, but the rest of the tank seems quite useable.

Re: 72 gmc rare parts

the only flaw on the tailgate band is the small scratch sen in the woodgrain and there iss some paint comming off of the letters and the blck stripes. no other dammage.
