15x8 rallies and tire size opinions

I know this is probably an over posted subject, but what is the best? I bought some 15x8 rallies and want to go the same size all around. When I get them installed I will have 3.5/5 drop. I was thinking 245/75 all around. Show me some pics of what ya'll are running to help me decide. Thanks dudes and dudettes.

Hey Nick
I did my research on this before and I came up with 275-60-15 all the way around, thats the route I was going till my wife ordered me new wheels for my truck for christmas...

I've got 275/60 on all 4, no problems.

Re: 15x8 rallies and tire size opinions

After looking at some trucks with that size tires I agree. What is the height of a 275/60? I was wanting the wheel well to be filled all the way, but the the amount I'm lowering it should fill it up nicely I would think.

Al good doing business with you, I will pm you when the wheels make it in and will post pics when I get them on. Thanks guys.

Re: 15x8 rallies and tire size opinions

If my memory serves me right the 275/60/15 is about 27 or 28" tall and the 255/70/15 is about 29" tall. Almost as wide as the 275 and just a bit taller to fill the wheel well. I run 255/70/15 on 8" wide Outlaw rims on my 97 GMC. Same on my last one too.

Re: 15x8 rallies and tire size opinions

That sounds about right Boog, I was liking the idea of a little bit taller tire. I will end up with about 28 1/4" in the front and about 29 in the back in height after the drop. Are your outlaw rims close to same diminsions as stock rallies? thanks dude.
