WTB - 72 4wd engine crossmember

Hello everyone, I am redoing another 72 K10. Hopefully this will be my last becasue I have told all my friends not to let me get stupid and sell this one. I have a 72 K10, that was modified for a BB, but I want to go back to a 350. Does anyone have the engine crossmember for sale?

Thanks,
Mike

Re: WTB - 72 4wd engine crossmember

Pickmup,
Can you send me a pic? Also, I am missing the crossmember that is rear of the rear axle, but in front of the spare tire crossmember. Do you have that also?

Thanks,
Mike

Re: WTB - 72 4wd engine crossmember

Hi guys,
I have not found a good pic of a 4wd frame to know exactly what I am missing, so any help woul dbe appreciated. I have removed ttranny crossmember. I took it out to sandblast. I am wanting to get all the crossmembers verified, and trial fit my drivetrain before I send the frame out for powdercoating.

Re: WTB - 72 4wd engine crossmember

Ok, Thanks. I thought there were 2 crossmembers, plus the spare tire carrier behind the rear axle.

Thanks,
Mike

Here's the engine crossmember in excellent cond. No dents, no bends, only surface rust (no pitting).

Re: WTB - 72 4wd engine crossmember

CTENTA1 You can use the stock cross member. It's the size of the pan is where you might have to cut the center section out and drop it down. Hope this helps.
