ATTN Jerry Moss. Heres our RUST!!!

LOL!! I talked to Jerry Moss on the phone yesterday (Very nice guy by the way) and he hasn't seen what a rusty truck looks like!! You see he is spoiled out in cali w/o the rust problems!! I though Jerry might get a kick out of the Jimmy I parted. It actually came to Missouri from Minnesota.

looks like all it needs is a body, front clip, interior, top, drivetrain, electrical and a little paint and you'd have a clean driver...

I'm in South Dakota so I can definitely relate to Joesjunk. You California guys are lucky, compared to those of us in the "Rust Belt" of America.

I don't think you can blame the looks of that truck on the rust. Looks like the sawzall and the impact did more damage to it. I am guessing it looked just like this truck in the picture.

I have the Fuggly truck next to it, and it is far worse for rust.

Rust? What rust?

Ok, I have to confess here...
I am the one who sold the 72 Jimmy to joesjunk. I said it was very "rusty", he just thought I said "rust free". They sound a lot alike, and after he sent me many thousands of dollars, I was not about to correct him!

That blue 72 Jimmy did look pretty good in the pictures, but it was about the rustiest truck I have ever seen. A real shame, it had about 80k original miles on it, but sat in a wet shed rotting for years before I bought it. It rusted from the bottom up, and everytime the door got slammed shut about 5 pounds of rust would fall out. It did run and drive pretty nice, if you dont count the exploding brake lines which I found out about at the first stop sign I came to on the way home!

Every once in a while, you can still find a pretty nice original here in Minnesota... like this 67 C10 with 34k original miles.

All you need to do is stuff some rags into them holes and shoot her with some flat black rustoleum. Chicks will dig it.
