chassis swap 4x4 to 2wd

hi all,

i can buy a complete 2wd chassis for my blazer '75 4x4.
this becauce of lowering the truck.
is this swap possible or are the frames complete difrent?

or the option of only swap the front end 2wd is better?

welcome...

someone will chime in with your answer...

Any pics of your truck in holland? There are a few European members on here and it's always nice to see pics from your local car shows...

Re: chassis swap 4x4 to 2wd

that is a sweet truck, what's the story behind it?

Did you ship it, build it, buy it?

I like 4WD's myself and had a red/white 79 blazer for my first vehicle in High School...It wasn't that nice though...

Re: chassis swap 4x4 to 2wd

I believe it would be much easier to swap suspension vs. the entire chassis.

Re: chassis swap 4x4 to 2wd

That would be a good idea, put all new front end IFS parts and a new crossmember from porterbuilt...

The rear can be lowered as is...

Re: chassis swap 4x4 to 2wd

ok thanks for the respons, how about the dropmember, instead of airbags is it also possible to use it with normal springs?
and what about the cost for a complete front end set for my blazer?
