new car show on speed/ideas on my engine build

i was in the hospital the other day the result of a garage wall falling on me and breaking my ankle, and i was watching speed when a car show came on with the guy from trucks way back, i believe he built the ford bronco "crazy horse" he was doing a segment on doing a triple deuce intake for a sbc pretty much what i am looking to do, well i was on alot of morphine and don't remember alot lol and wouldn't mind watching it again, but i can't recall the tv show also as a result of being off work for a while ive been doing some thinkin on what i wanna do with the truck as far as a powertrain so far 383 with a triple deuce. summit has a package http://http://store.summitracing.com...3&autoview=sku but i figure doing it myself with some old rebuilt 2 barrel carbs would be alot cheaper, and the episode went through all the steps in doing that.

Re: new car show on speed/ideas on my engine build

do you know how to delete the chokes and the idle circuits of the secondary carbs? if not you should do alot more research on the proper mechanics of a three duece setup, its not just 3 carbs to work properly

Check out Barry Grants "Six Shooter" package. It's all new and designed to work pretty much out of the box.

I've watched that episode about 5 times. I will do a tri-power in a vehicle eventually.

You can count on Stacy David to laugh himself, when he thinks we should be laughing. Only thing is, he laughs a lot more at stuff that I don't find to be that laughable.

Yeah, he has built some nice stuff. Copperhead, his (he says low-buck) rat roadster, the 3/4-ton Power Wagon, etc. I actually prefer watching Bryan Fuller on Two Guys Garage. He and Sam Memmolo are much more believable as mechanics and fabricators, than is Stacy.

Re: new car show on speed/ideas on my engine build

i always thought that two guys garage was bull because they use to not do the actual work. when stacy came out on trucks the ratings went down on the two guys and thats when they started doing the real work. but stacy is actually an awesome fabricator and really knows his stuff

I really like a show with a guy like Stacey. And,he`s a good guy. But,that laughin`is just another narrating technique.Just like on the OCC show where they all talk up ^.then talk down v.Then talk up ^.And down again v.

Do you think it`s time to end this post?

No...ho ho ho.Not even.Are you nuts?Ha Ha

You do that and you`d miss out on you - know - what.heh heh heh

You don`t know?ha ha ha Well...you`ll have to stick around to find out.Ha ha ha ha ha...
