Longbed Question

On a longbed how many cross sills are there? how tall are the cross sills? and the wood for the bed is 3/4" correct? any help would be greatly aprricated.

This might help. I painted mine last week and here is a picture before I painted it. Sorry, can't measure as it is sealed back up under the tarp.

The thread below shows pics of an original wood bed and the cross sills pretty well. There are 5 of the taller sills, maybe 3" I would guess, 1 that is about an inch tall and of course the rear cross sill. You are correct the wood needs to be 3/4 inch thick.

thank you very much for your help chipflyer, yes you are correct the cross sills are 3" tall, i saw one at the store today as the owner was getting in it and ended up messuring the cross sill, but thank you anyways for the help.
