Re: horn wiring

Horn wire is green, as I remember. There should be a relay that you will hear emit a clicking sound, with no horn connected. If you hear that sound, then you should be able to have an operable horn when it is connected....unless there is a break in the wire between the relay and its terminus.

You mean where the horn mounts?? On the core support to the outboard side of the radiator. It's on the drivers' side near the regulator. You should see that green wire with a coupler on it coming from the harmess near the horn location.

Re: horn wiring

take sandpaper and clean to shiney metal where the horn mounts to the core support because thats how the horn is grounded// doesnt hurt to shoot a bit of wd40 into the horn opening to lubricate the diaphram either
