Saturday pics (1-3) Parts run!
Hey guys and gals! It's the first Saturday of the year and we're still kickin! My lil bro and I had to make a parts run over the mountain to Trenton and I drug the camera along.
I got the call about lunchtime that I needed to come pick this part up...I ain't goin round hungry, so I took my loney/waffle sammich with me! Man! It was foggy on the mountain! Cool wrecker. What's those signs mean??? Loaded up and ready to go. View from my dads place... The pickup my lil brother stole...lot's of mods coming for this one. Spotted in a junk pile while passing... Mocked up a shifter knob for Christy. |

Two waffles, Two slices of thick fried loney, Cheese and some spicy brown mustard spread between the loney. Generally washed down with a beer... but not when I've gotta drive.

see ten, Those are some great pics. The '54 looks sweet!
Having grown up in the mountains of Southwest VA, and now living in the flatlands of Tidewater, VA, your pics of those mountains, rolling hills & country roads makes me homesick for the hills!

Thanks guys! That truck has heat so I didn't have to break out the propane. Christy went to Seattle to see her brother who happens to be stationed there with the Navy.

Re: Saturday pics (1-3) Parts run!
That's not my brother...It's my brother in law. He's a pretty good guy...kinda shy...some people mis-interpert that as being arrogant. But he's a good guy. Just bought himself some new wheels...

Re: Saturday pics (1-3) Parts run!
Is that not your truck then?
Or is one of those things like my dad used to do... he used to buy stuff, say it was my grandpas and he was fixing it for him so he could use it... then it just mysteriously never left our house

Re: Saturday pics (1-3) Parts run!
I've kinda been keeping the blue one on the down low...I think we've had it since about last April. Slowly accumlating funds and parts to make it something worth talking about. There's been snippets of it tucked in my Saturday pics a few times in the last few months.
