Did I Get A Good Deal In This?

I got a 350 motor, automatic transmission, and every bit of the exhast for 300 bucks. Was that a deal or what?

If the motor runs good, that's a good deal with just the motor itself, the other stuff is a plus

I bought a 1969 350 block that was bored 30 over and had new freeze plugs in it for 300!! Sounds like a good deal to me..

I like that air cleaner idea! I might have to make myself a cold air induction system and use something like that for a carb hat. Would look pretty wicked on a V8 and be a cool looking custom touch.

I sold this concoction a couple months ago for $400 and it wasn’t as fancy as what you got plus the one I sold had an unknown amount of miles on it.

You got a good deal even if they both needed rebuilding. Round here you would pay $150 just for a buildable core.. That's for just the shortblock without anything else. Looks like you got brackets and all.
