stock ride height..what is te biggest size rim and tire i can run.... thinking maybe 18s?

I would be real careful running larger diameter wheels on a stock height truck. The proportions can get kind-of funky. I used to run 17's with 275/60/17 rear and 255/60/17 front tires with a 1" drop in front and 2" drop in the rear. It looked good with the "almost" stock height. The 1"/2" drops springs probab;y raised the truck an inch over the old wore out stock springs.

I'm afraid 18" wheels with a large enought tire to fill the wheelwells will almost give it a 4wd look and stance.

tires are 31x10.50r15lt tires right now... you think that looks good enough if i get some new rims different style same size rim and tire though??

You can "fit" a 31" tire in the front and back easily on stock height, regardless of wheel diameter. If you go over 31/32" in the front, you'll have some rubbing through corners, and may catch some inner fender. I agree that large wheels with low[er] profile tires look a little funky on stock ride height. 15x8 truck ralleys with 29-30inch tall tires, maybe 255/70/15 or 275/65/15 or 275/70/15? In my relatively unimportant (it's your truck!) opinion, knobby truck tires look a little off on a 2wd, but so do low profilers on big wheels. Below is a pic of my 265/75/16's on my truck when it was stock height:

Hey, check out this thread, 31.5" tall tire rubs with a 2" drop. I'd suspect that in fact does make your max tire size on stock height 32".

i think ill keep my 31s but upgrade to a better rim of the same size..since im getting all body work done and i dont want to have crappy rims with a nice paint job
