Re: Anyone else notice......

Now that you mention it, I have seen lots of "Welcome to the forums from ......" I am amazed how many fellow '60-'66 Chevy truck guys I come across in my daily dealings, that have not heard of this site. I gave the web address to two fellows today. Hopefully, with every member's help, we can get the numbers up for the '60-'66 forums.

I personally want to thank everyone that contributes to this forum, because it gives me something to do late at night when I can't sleep and I want to be doing truck stuff. My neighbor got me into 4-5-6 Chevy trucks back in 1980 and each of us may have the same influence on someone in the same way. Lets all keep spreading the word about this site. I am on a personal membership drive.

PS-great observation joe231 and thanks for starting the thread.

Yeah, I've been having a hard time keeping up with all of it. Glad to see it though.

I, too, would like to thank the Mods for making this a nice, family friendly place to hang out. Too many forums allow too much "potty mouthed" language. I guess that just reflects the high quality of folks that are on this site!!

Thumbs up Re: Anyone else notice......

I like to mention this site to any of the 60-66 owners I happen to meet around this area. I haven't seen any of them here yet. But I have noticed alot of new people come in. I lingered here for about 4 months before I actually registered. This site is so cool, I love it!

I also would like to say thanks to the mods and staff. Many other message boards I've been to are not as fun to spend time in.

This also might be a good time to remind everyone to eventually become a ‘site supporter’, especially if you actually use some of the fine experience related in various posts and detailed photographs. Just my two cents.

Re: Anyone else notice......

I just got my first (60 to 66) 66truck. I'd wanted one. Ive had about 8 67-72's and probably 20 to 25 square body pu's. this one came along and was too cheap and original to pass up. 66 mechanically is much like 67 to 72 mehcanically.
