Ive gotta problem and a ?

okay, my truck used to have spotlights on both driver/pass. sides, so ive got 2 1" holes on the sides of the windshields, well when i get into the truck during/after it rains ive got lots of wet/dampness on my floor, which doesnt help the rust thats alreayd there....whats the best/cheapest way to plug these holes up they go thru the door and the roof support...................and I get water comming from the bottom of the door pannels? hows that getting in there???? thanks!

Re: Ive gotta problem and a ?

Weld up the holes and grind em down, then paint over it. The piece of rubber on the outside of the window that rubs on the window is most likely not there, get a new one and it "should" fix it. I'm pretty sure that is what it is.

Re: Ive gotta problem and a ?

its not that easy thirdstreet, when you open the door, its 2 1/2 holes one on the door, one on the cab roof support, so if you weld it up, then you couldnt open the door lol, does that make sense, id show pics but my SD card isnt showing up when i plug it in......

Re: Ive gotta problem and a ?

Weld the holes (no matter how many holes there actually are) and replace the window seals (top of the door panel, outside).

Re: Ive gotta problem and a ?

I really meant for you to weld up the outside holes, then the inside (door) holes. cut and bend some metal, weld it in, grind it, etc....
