Found some 3/4 ton axles with 4.10s, Dana 44 and corp. full floater 14 bolt for $275. Is this worth it? I have 3.73s now and running 35's but want to run 37's would 4.10 work?

Unless you're going for mpg, I think you'd be undergearded at 4.10s with 37s. You'd be better off with 4.56s.

that sounds like a good price
to me if there arent any probs with them
at least in these parts thats a good deal

Thats a great deal on those axles. Even if they need a rebuild. Grab'em!

Keep in mind that if it is a 14FF and not a 14SF, the spring perches will need to be cut off and moved as well as the shock mounts. It's not a direct bolt in.

To answer your original question (sorry), that's a decent price, if they're complete and don't need major work. You won't be any worse off with 37s and 4.10s than you are currently with 3.73s and 35s.

Won't the 14SF will still require shock mount relocation? Are the spring perches on the 14SF located correctly for our trucks?

Find a gear chart on-line, that will help you find the RPM's you'll be running @ speed and allow for a better decision to be made on your part.

Thought the 14FF only needs shock mounts changed...

Only if it's from a one ton. 3/4 ton 14 bolts need everything relocated if it's going in a 1st gen. If it's a 2nd or 3rd gen blazer the 3/4 ton 14 bolt is a bolt in (at least as far as spring perches go).

Thanks for your help. I will pick them up. I guess run the gears it has in it until I have enough money to run 4.56's.

The dana 44 is still a half ton front axle with eight lug bolts which is what you already have accept yours has six lugs. Dana 60 is what you want in the front, the axles are much l;arger.
