Good show, old chap. That's cool man. Wish I could find a 68 stepside like that. The closest I've seen so far is the Hot Wheels version.

Re: What did you get your baby for Christmas?

Wellllll...I took the Circuit Rider to the body shop last Jan. 08 for a face lift. It looked like the pics below...

The original 402BB. Yum Yum.

Now it looks like this...

The cab and the 402BB is now back on the frame.

So my Christmas present last year is a gift that continue to give. Some day it will look purdy like a lot of the other fine trucks on this site. Another 2-3 months and the Circuit Rider will be home.

Re: What did you get your baby for Christmas?

My "Bundle of Joy" got the livin' bejeezus hacked out of her! Started shaving the drip rail, cut out the rockers (inner and outer), cut off the bad bottom of the A-pillar, cut out the rotten cab corners, removed rear window and began the fab work for a powered roll-down version, welded up some holes from the PO's gun rack. Other than that- not much!

Yeah I know it's a 72 fleet. I'm saying I wish I could find a 1:24 or 1:18 scale 68 stepper. I hope I'm still loved.

As far as getting my truck anything, I did order a power steering return line from ECE for mine. I thought I was gonna have to order a new power steering box, but found out the steel return line was rubbing the inner fender and had bent it and broke at the flange. I feel better it was a $20 fix instead of $150.
