work i got done today on the truck

well i mounted 2 of 3 gauges i have(only five bucks each) and got them all hooked up ones a water temp gauge and the other is a volt gauge

this is the last one i have to hook up..i just don't know how lol but its an air fuel ratio gauge

then i got some speaker grills so people don't accidentally kick my speakers

and last but not least i put window tinting on my windows (20% visible light) you may not be able to see it too well from this pics though

so what do you guys think

Cool looking gauges. I want to put some in my cluster too. Did you get an oxygen sensor with your air/fuel gauge? You will need to install one in your exhaust pipe

I think what you need is called a wideband o2 sensor. I am not sure if it will work with the style of gauge you have. One of the other guys might have to correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure the gauge you have is meant to be t'ed in with an existing o2 sensor with a 5 volt reference. Makes it easy to use in the modern OBD II vehicles.

I would trade that AF ratio gauge in for a oil pressure gauge if you don't already have one.

I have a AF gauge wired in on my 240sx its a faze brand and the nice thing about it is that i have actually temp wired it into 2 other vehicles for tuning reasons. The 1991 240 i have is 0bd 0 or 1 (i dont remember) so if i remember correctly when i was working on it i believe it will read off most any O2 sensor, you just hotwire it into the lead.

Also all the O2 sensors i have ever seen have been somewhere decently near the colector on the exhaust. just my $.02
