4x4 big block swap

i was wondering if anyone has done a good big block conversion in 4x4 3.4 ton. I have one that the previous owner did a hack job and i would like to do it right when i put the nw engine in. I already bought a msd distributor for clearence there, however i am running a full roller valve train with 1.7 ratio rockers andf having clearence issues with the taller valve covers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: 4x4 big block swap

A body lift would give you some extra room, or move everything forward to the next set of holes. Otherwise you may have to beat on the firewall a bit. The tall valve covers may be the problem. I have the short vette style in mine and i still had to tap the firewall in a bit.
