Aftermarket tranny pans
Does anyone have experience or an opinion on aftermarket tranny pans. I'm having my TH-350 rebuilt and am considering getting one. I'm not going for looks, I just want one for the extra fluid capacity and better cooling. Do they really help that much, or would my $100 be better spent elsewhere on my truck? The truck will just be used for a daily driver and the engine is basically stock.
And if they are worth it, will they fit on our trucks? When I drained my tranny, the factory pan had very little clearance. Since the aftermarket pans are deeper, will one even fit without modifying the crossmember? Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I also forgot to say that I had a B&M shift kit installed in the tranny with the Street/Strip setup, if that's worth anything to ya.

deep pans are good just dont get one thats stamped steel they are junk. if you are going to get one get a cast aluminum pan much more sturdy.just make sure you use the spacer for the filter that will come with deep pan otherwise u just defeat the purpose
