hey brothers! im back from the dead!
hey everyone....
had a nasty accident at work last year... been out on surgery after surgery, but i am now back in business! nothing has been done to my truck since, but i have a ton of parts to put on her... doing a new race th350 tomorrow with a new tci torque converter, flywheel, and 7qt oil pan(why not?).. hopefully i will be able to get her back on the road soon! nothing wrong with this transmission.... its just... well, stock! i don't even have 40 miles on this transmission. but it doesn't give me the kick i need from my small block anyhow.... im glad to be back! this forum rocks!

Re: hey brothers! im back from the dead!
my boss had a double discectomy and fusion last year. it's really amazing that you and him and so many people can just get repaired!
it's also good to hear success stories about surgeries and recoveries. everyone isn't so lucky. care to share what you had done? now... about that truck

Re: hey brothers! im back from the dead!
thanks all for the kind words and support!
i had 3 yup 3 shoulder surgeries and a spinal fusion.... still recovering from my last shoulder surgery on dec 10th but it feels like it will be better! this dang cold just makes things worse! ahhh, the ol truck... well some of you might remember, i did a frame on resto... but every thing was done. paint was stripped to bare metel... interior too.. all the drivetrain was removed. cleaned the rear end new seal and oil.. new one piece drive shaft, new trans and my special built 510hp 327" mighty mouse! everything under the hood is new... then i had to go and spray paint the truck flat black with scallops.. but its in the works for her to be painted right.... porsche gaurds red... all back to 72 body parts..ie.. grill and bumper... and a lil change in the interior.. tan carpet to match the tan leather, dash, visors, steering wheel, center console, and door panels... then i should be good to go, maybe she will see a good guys car and truck show or two anyhow, thanks again guys! eric
