Question 67 w/power steering?

my frame has power steering right, it even has the dimple in the frame. i dont understand it, its a 67 swb all numbers on the frame match the vin? and the numbers on the frame look absoloutly factory. any thoughts

My 67 was manual and I converted it...and it had a dimpled frame and it was a small back window, very original truck.

Manufactures and frames and years, after all the truck was build on an assembly line in the 60's...Between the assembly line and quanity of parts on hand, it's hard to tell who IS running a company...

i was always under the impression (from info found on this board) that the 67-70 frames were void of the dimple?

No, only 67 frames were "void" of the dimple, but there are some lucky people out there who have 67's that were built late in the run that had the dimple.

Your VIN should start something like: CS147S... Is the 5th digit a 7?

7 is for 67, 8 for 68, etc...

mine reads cs148zxxxxxx. under year model on my pink it says 1967. must be late 67 early 68.

Mine is a 67 and I have the power steering and dimpled frame as well
